"A unique experience!"

"It challenged us to work together and reflect on what did or did not work"

It was effective in "understanding others' thought patterns"

"The non-communication aspect challenged you to think outside of the box"

"As a new member of this team, it helped to get to know everybody in a setting away from work"
Later in the day "we were in the right frame of mind"

Looking for a way to BUILD the effectiveness of your organization?

On what aspects of team work does this program focus?

We will work with you for a single morning of team building exercises to focus on the ways in which your specific group needs to improve!  After a boxed lunch and Habitat for Humanity orientation are provided, spend the afternoon reconstructing a home for a lower income family of York County!
Working with York Habitat for Humanity, this corporate team building program is a great way for groups to take a day out of the office to work together, doing something they may have never done before – build a home!  Work with your group and invite clients/colleagues to join you.

No construction skills or tools are required. All tools, safety equipment and building materials for the day are provided.

Giving back to the community…Providing the donation of $125 per person for this team building program, your group members will appreciate that they are not just having fun and learning, they are also providing funds and labor to build homes for those in need in our own  community!

Available most days of the week, except Mondays.  At least three weeks' notice is required, as well as completion of form below.  A facilitator will join you in the morning and then you will be supervised by our construction crew in the afternoon.  The entire event takes place on one of our construction sites!  Location will be determined shortly before your scheduled session.  Dress appropriately.  Takes place year-round.  If you have further questions, contact the office.  Please make checks out to "York Habitat for Humanity."
