"The hammer is an instrument for
manifesting God's love. The hammer knows nothing about the race, religion or socio-economic background of the user.
Sharing in Habitat's ministry of 'building houses with God's people in need' is a way of minimizing our differences
and concentrating on our similarities. Habitat is a blessing, not only for those who receive better housing, but also
for those who share in its ministry of service and compassion."
-- Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat for
Humanity International
Building on Faith strives to bring members of all faiths and religious backgrounds together
to help make a difference in the community through building affordable, decent housing for families in need. Working
together helps to raise the $80,000 that will be needed to build this home, including $7,500 that will be tithed to our sister
affiliate in Uganda.
