Children generally have better self-esteem, better grades, stronger friendships in stable communities, higher graduation rates, lower teen pregnancy rates and increased post secondary education rates. York Habitat for Humanity is not an emergency service for housing, as the program can take anywhere between 12 to 24 months.

York Habitat's program eligibility is based on York County's median income (or AMI).
The chart below uses your family's size and monthly income to be the primary determining factor for eligibility of the Homeownership Program.
